I was extravagant today. It’s not normally in my nature to be so. Much to Mrs Penguin’s consternation I’m one of those people who make do and mend. I hate buying new things when the old ones work perfectly well. My computer is a mixture of cobbled together bits and bobs, mostly second hand or donated stuck together to form a working machine. The last full system I bought brand new was a Toshiba laptop back in 1998 so you get the picture of my consumer habits.
However today, I decided to let rip, treat myself and blow a whole
Whoa there Penguin. You go steady.
You’ll get a letter from the bank, asking you if you made a large – uncharacteristic – withdrawal on the 29th!
Tight bugger. Poor Mrs. Penguin… this is what happens when you fall for a socilaist!
Yeah, I know, it`s a nightmare with him.
Hmm, and to think Mrs Penguin got a keyboard as well on Saturday, I didn’t get one of those, such a humble and undemanding creature that I am. On my journey to acquire said mouse, I also perused the RAM available and even considered secretly saving up to get Mrs Penguin a 512Mb stick for her (my) computer that I gave her this week and that’s all the thanks I get? Great.
Oh, Mrs. P, I think we upset him.
if you want that RAM, I think you owe him a cup of tea and a cuddle.
Ah, don`t worry, he`ll be alright
Tyger, the thing is, I never asked for a new RAM, I`m actually quite happy with what I have here.
Ok, I go and make him a tea now (cuddle incl.)
